What about if I told you that you could combine history, nature and adventure in one? Well, it is possible indeed in Hacienda Guachipelin, a destination located at the skirts of the Rincon de La Vieja volcano, one of the most active volcanos of Costa Rica, and not far away from the historical white village of Liberia.
We start the day with zip lining that goes through a scenic canyon and portion of forest, then we go on with horseback ride to Chorreras waterfall with its beautiful turquoise translucent water, and it wasn’t enough for the day we continue our adrenaline dose by tubing down the Rio Negro.
Let’s take a break for lunch, get our energy back and after this exhilarating experience we can slow down and relax at the Rio Negro hot springs.
