Description
Children’s Eternal Rain Forest (Pocosol Station)
The largest private reserve in Costa Rica, Children’s Eternal Rainforest, is located deep in the pristine primary forest about an hour’s drive from La Fortuna. The Children’s Eternal Rainforest was created with money raised by environmental campaigns led by school children from all around the world. The reserve consists of three different trails: Oropendola trail leads you to a majestic waterfall, and the Samia and Fumarolas trails lead to a mineral-rich mud pool. Mid-day you will take a break at the reserve’s restaurant, enjoy a traditional Costa Rican meal and observe the birds flying around the terrace and natural lagoon.
