Manuel Antonio National Park
Manuel Antonio National Park is considered the pearl of national parks in Costa Rica due to the mixture of lush rainforest, mangroves, beautiful beaches, and abundant wildlife. A walking tour of the park with a guide is considered a must for all visitors to the country! See the Howler and White-faced Monkeys climbing through the trees. Scarlet Macaws and Toucans are usually also spotted, along with hundreds of other bird species that frequent the area. As you enter the park, you will also spot many reptiles, including iguanas and lizards. This easy hike takes about an hour. After the walk, you are invited to refresh with a swim at one of the beautiful white sand beaches in the park, considered some of the most beautiful beaches in the country.
